It is not by coincidence that Patrriot is special. His pedigree is filled with the aristocrats of the Arabian breed, including 13 crosses to the immortal Bask. All of the leading Arabian English Performance sires are descendants of Bask, several of them being line bred to Bask. They also have a line to the great Varian Arabians’ sire Huckleberry Bey, as does Patrriot. In fact, Patrriot has one cross to each of the top two producing Huckleberry Bey sons – Afire Bey V and Hucklebey Berry.

In 2020 Patrriot was ranked at a top producing stallion of national winners in the industry! This ranking is even more prestigious given he was only 5 years old when he reached this level. To take a look at his up-and-coming offspring check out Krohn Arabians Facebook page.

43 National Champion titles and 8 Reserve National Champion titles can be found throughout Patrriot’s pedigree. All of these championships were won in the Halter and English Performance divisions. Breeders always say how important it is to not only choose a great sire but also place tremendous emphasis on the mare you choose. Patrriot’s dame, Showthyme WCA is one of the only two mares in the United States to have ever beaten the incredible CR Jasmeena in the Halter arena. Jasmeena was crowned European and U.S. National Champion female and was the highest-scoring Halter entry of the entire U.S. National Championship Show in 2012. This victory by Patrriot’s dam speaks to the superior level of quality she possesses.

Again, it is not a surprise that Patrriot is so beautiful and talented, nor is it a surprise that his foals are so beautiful and talented. This is a testament to the dedication and commitment of the breeders who have come before us so that we can inherit incredible Arabian horses, like Patrriot. Now, it is our generation’s turn to take the torch and pass it on.
